We are expanding the service network & acquiring Peters Maskinrep

OrboTech Sweden expands the service network in northern Norrland, acquires the gelding company Peters Maskinrep  

In line with the strategy to expand its own service network with workshops and technicians and to get even closer to customers, OrboTech Sweden AB buys into the established machine repairer and former service partner Peters Maskinrep AB in Gällivare, Norrbotten.

Peters Maskinrep mainly works with maintenance and repairs of, among other things, workshop equipment, lifts, washing machines and pressure washers, where LKAB and Boliden are major customers. They are also an authorized service workshop for Kränzle, Miele, Nilfisk, and Kärcher. For many years now, they have also been a valued external service partner to OrboTech in Norrbotten. In line with the company's strategy to expand its own service network with technicians and service workshops around Sweden, OrboTech has looked at the possibility of expanding its operations in the north, when the opportunity to deepen the partnership with Peters Maskinrep and the owners Peter Karlsson and Pontus Karlsson presented itself, it was a natural steps to take.

Peters Maskinrep continues its business under the same name and will work in the same spirit towards the loyal customers in Gällivare and Norrland, while at the same time they want to shift more focus to cleaning machines and cleaning robots. OrboTech's goal with the investment is to shorten the lead times for repairs and service matters in order to help customers more quickly and to reduce transport of broken machines to current service workshops. Together, the two companies see great development potential and Peters Maskinrep will not only be an important key in the service network, but will also support OrboTech's business developers in Norrland.

To draw attention to the new venture, Peters Maskinrep, together with OrboTech's internal marketing department, has developed a new graphic profile and logo that will reflect the company's core business, the local anchoring in Norrbotten and a new joint future direction.
