Grand celebration as OrboTech Group celebrates 40 years

This year, OrboTech Group turns 40 and it was a real celebration with guests from near and far gathering at the head office in Sundsvall. An office that had been transformed into a funfair for the day, with a wonderful mix of cleaning machines, cotton candy and crackling rockets!

The journey for OrboTech Group began back in 1986 with our sister company Johans Städmaskiner, which then took the Norrland market by storm thanks to high-quality cleaning machines, service beyond the ordinary and that familiar "Johans feeling".

Fast forward to 2012, when OrboTech Sweden saw the light of day. The aim was to create space to invest in more unproven products and innovations that have over time changed the cleaning industry and paved the way for the automation and robotization we see today.

As we come together as OrboTech Group and celebrate our 40th anniversary, we can look back on four decades of smart cleaning, incredible colleagues, strong relationships and collaborations with fantastic people. And what better way to do that than to invite you to a really fast-paced funfair party! Together, we got to remember the goodies through an anecdotal journey through time – and then look ahead and see where the journey takes us next.

Together with our world-leading suppliers, who were on site during the celebration, we showcased exciting news that will soon be introduced to the industry. Innovations that will continue to push the boundaries of cleaning machines, cleaning robots and other product types. Everyone got the chance to squeeze and feel the products and talk about the future of cleaning on the way between the funfair activities and no one left without feeling inspired by what is to come.

Thank you so much for these 40 years, we are aiming for 40 more, at least!
