"Innovative risers bring life to the exhibition floor", trend scouting Clean & Facility 2023
Full of energy after this year's big happening, Clean & Facility 2023, we have let the words flow freely from our trade fair marketing communicator Martin Ädel.
The impressions after this year's edition of Clean & Facility have just sunk in. Jönköping offered a really well-filled fair with many visitors from all levels of the cleaning and service industry and from many different parts of Sweden. It is noticeable that the fair is a big happening for everyone, regardless of position or where you work. Many had traveled far to participate and it is fun to experience such commitment from the visitors.
The same commitment was to be found among many of the exhibitors who put on a good show this year. But it is noticeable that several leading industry companies are holding back and are not exhibiting with the same size and energy as in previous times. But in their restraint and in some cases missing, innovative risers fill up and give life to an otherwise rather traditional and casual trade show floor. The visitors are looking more and more for experiences and inspiration and you can clearly see which exhibitors give them this, that is where the most people gather. As exhibitors and companies in the industry, we have to invite and invite, it is not enough to just be there, the visitors and the fair are worth commitment.
If we look at trends and topics of conversation, it is clear that environmental sustainability and robotics are a major focus, in any case based on the messages coming from many of the suppliers and their product range. If you look at it from a broader, more social perspective, you can also add social sustainability and work environment to the list, something that the topics at this year's many seminars and also the nominations for the awards under the Clean Bright Awards (City and service industry quality award) confirm. The industry works hard to reward and elevate social and environmental sustainability and it will be interesting to follow this positive development and the dialogues that follow between buyers and suppliers of cleaning services, it is in that meeting that everything we work for takes a concrete form . Much has improved, but at the same time there is much more that can be done and there are always new challenges to be tackled and new conditions to deal with.
Something that is guaranteed to have a major impact on the industry is the ongoing robotisation, not since the advent of cleaning machines has a single product segment had such a great opportunity to change the industry. Here, the producers and suppliers will have a great responsibility to present smart solutions and aids that meet the industry's needs in everything from work environment issues to the threat of staff shortages.
We are moving towards an interesting and exciting future, to say the least. With the right focus, inspiring people and companies that create commitment and forums like Clean & Facility, where the entire cleaning and service industry can meet - then there are all the conditions for change and improvement. Together we make a difference!
